Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain said apparatus by which vacuum molding of polymeric material is performed readily and air void free polymeric material is obtained by a simple constitution, by providing an upper cover and a lower platen to the enclosure having the specific structure for containing a mold and making a vacuum inside.
CONSTITUTION: An upper cover 2 is fitted movably to the upper part of an enclosure 1 and it is sealed with O ring A. A bottom face 6 of the enclosure and a mold 5 are approached to the part 7 connecting to the lower platen of a molding press and it is sealed with O ring 9. A vacuum is made inside a space R by opening a valve 12, then air neighboring the parting face M inside the mold 5 and polymeric material 4 is evacuated.
