Abstract

PURPOSE:To lessen hysterresis by furnishing a projection at a part of the circumference of the upper hole of yoke, applying magnetic force to the plunger from sideways, and thereby allowing the plunger to produce stable braking force. CONSTITUTION:Fuel flowing from an intake 22 heaves an elastic valve element 24 and is sent through the side of the plunger 23 and the upper part to be exhausted from the outlet 25. Teflon rings 26, 27 with a low coefficient of friction are provided over and under the outside circumference of the plunger 23. A solenoid 33 and a yoke 34 are installed at the outside circumference of a cylindrical member 31 to permit the plunger 23 to be pressed downward when the solenoid 33 is energized. A projection 35 is furnished at a part of the circumference of the upper hole in the abovementioned yoke 34 in order to change the state of flux distribution, and because the plunger 23 is attracted stably to the projection 35 side strongly through the cylindrical member 31 by concentrating the flux on this projection 35, the vertical resistive force becomes large.
