Abstract

PURPOSE: To lessen the scattering of valve performance, by applying an interaction of both leaf and coil springs to a plunger that actuates a valve.
CONSTITUTION: When a electric current flows in a solenoid coil 58, electromagnetic force is generated to cause an action for depressing a plunger 57 downward, and pressure P2 of fluid flowing out from an outlet 52 is determined by the force applied to a valve body 55 from the theory of governor. That is, the value of an electric current flowing in the solenoid coil 58 can optionally change the pressure P2 to a certain range. In the present invention, the scattering of valve characteristic can be lessened because small tension of leaf springs 61, 62 with wide scattering of their spring constant and large tension of a coil spring 70 with narrow scattering of its spring constant are applied. While the limitation of a valve stroke in accordance with allowable stress of the leaf spring can be also eased because its tension is distributed to the coil spring, thus to obtain a large stroke.
