Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of blow-off or other undesirable occurrence by a method wherein the displacement of a feedback responsive member is controlled by an electromagnetic actuator by detecting the pressure of a gas at the outlet of the gas flow rate control apparatus and the adjustment of the gas pressure and the control of a proportional gas flow rate are performed simultaneously. CONSTITUTION:In case where a gas combustion apparatus is required to be operated, a switching valve 15 opens a valve sheet 13 and a working gas is introduced into a main diaphragm chamber 8 through a passage 17 so that the pressure of the gas rises up to make a main diaphragm 9 open a main valve 4 against the force of a spring 7 and as a result, the combustion gas flows into an outlet passage 3 through a port 5 to increase the pressure of the gas at the outlet passage 3. The gas pressure is then fed back to a feedback diaphragm 19 through a passage 26. At the same time, a electric current is supplied to an electromagnetic coil 22 through a controller to thereby push a plunger 21 downward. Consequently, the force of the plunger 21 generating due to an electric current operated by the controller and the force exerted on the feedback diaphragm 19 are balanced.
