Abstract

PURPOSE: To stabilize operation by a method wherein a ratio between output flowing amount of pilot valve and action area on the edge of a main valve spool of the main valve is determined as a specific value in the two stage amplification type servo valve to control the main valve by pilot valve.
CONSTITUTION: When electric current is applied through a voice coil 11 in accordance with a scale of input signal 15, a spool 10 of pilot valve is displaced by cooperative operation with a magnet 12, and flowing amount (q) of the pressed oil by pilot operation is adjusted by a pilot valve 8 in accordance with its displacement. A spool 6 is displaced to generate output flowing amount Q by a mechanism wherein the flowing amount (q) runs into the operation chamber 7 on both ends of main valve spool of a main valve 3 and acts on the action surface 6b. In the servo valve, the ratio (q/A) between the above described flowing amount (q) of the pressure oil of pilot operation and action area A of the action surface 6b of the main valve spool 6 should be arranged to become less than 3. Thus, stabilization of servo valve may be planned.
