Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent generation of black smoke from an engine at its rapid acceleration, by controlling an injection quantity in proportion to a rotary speed of the engine with a signal from a function generator during the time before increase to a sufficient rotary speed of a supercharger. CONSTITUTION:A speed detecting sensor SN and control rack position control solenoid SOL are provided to an engine EG. At rapid acceleration, a throttle command signal VH exceeds a preset signal Vx, and a switch SW is closed for a certain time through a timer TM. Then a throttle position command signal VLP in accordance with an engine speed signal Vn is output from a function generator FNa to control an injection quantity. In this way, change of a throttle at rapid acceleration of the engine is detected to temporarily suppress the injection quantity, and generation of black smoke can be prevented.
