PURPOSE:To prevent malfunction due to noise, etc. and to improve the operability by switching selectively a discriminating function of two types of television signals having different frame frequencies. CONSTITUTION:A vertical pulse is given to an input terminal 1 and the pulse is outputted with a delay of 6 msec at a monostable multivibrator 3. On the other hand, a horizontal pulse is given to an input terminal 2 and applied to a 1/64 frequency-divider 41. When changeover switches 12a and 12b are selected to the terminal (a), an input of an NAND circuit 5 has the output of a 1/64 frequency divider 41 and a 1/2 frequency-divider 42, and in this state, the frame frequency can hardly malfunction to a signal of 60Hz. When the changeover switches 12a and 12b are selected to the terminal (b), the frame frequency can hardly malfunction to a signal of 50HZ.
