Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain the frequency characteristics having reduced variance and to lower the cost of a speaker, by welding the small parts of the transparent or semitransparent plastics with use of a carbon dioxide laser. CONSTITUTION:A magnet 2, an upper yoke 3 and a lower yoke 4 are incorporated into a frame 1. A voice coil 6 is adhered to a diaphragm 5, and the terminal of the coil 6 is connected and soldered to a terminal electrode sheet 7. In this case, the outer circumference parts of both frame 1 and diaphragm 5 are fixed at a laser welded part 9 by a carbon dioxide laser welding process. As a result, the frequency characteristics is more stable than a process of adhesion using an adhesive. In addition, the perfect water resistance is secured.
