Abstract
PURPOSE:To decrease the thickness of a speaker without lowering the density of the magnetic flux within a magnetic gap which forms a magnetic circuit, by supporting a diaphragm with a damper in a recessed part forming the magnetic circuit. CONSTITUTION:For a magnetic circuit, the upper and lower plates 7 and 10 are attached close to the upper and lower surfaces of a magnet 8 having a larger diameter than a diaphragm 1 and a magnet 9 which is positioned at the inner circumference side of the magnet 8 with the smaller thickness than the magnet 8, and a recessed part 2 is provided on the upper surface of the plate 7. In this connection, a voice coil bobbin 5 of the diaphragm 1 is shortened, and the diaphragm 1 is set close to the plate 7 and can be supported with a damper 6 within a recessed part 12. Thus the diaphragm 1 can be supported by the damper 6, a voice coil 4, etc. with a sufficient margin of amplitude. As a result, the overall thickness can be decresed for a speaker. While the magnet 8 has a larger diameter than the diaphragm 1, and accordingly the thickness of the magnet 8 itself can be increased. Thus no reduction is cauased to the density of the magnetic flux within a magnetic gap 11 which forms a magnetic circuit.
