Abstract
PURPOSE:To flatten the sound-pressure frequency characteristics of a speaker and to reduce nonlinear distortion by obtaining a detection signal, which has superior frequency characteristics and excellent linearity, from a discoidal piezoelectric element by driving the center of the piezoelectric element, and then by feeding back the detection signal to the drive system of the speaker. CONSTITUTION:A top plate 16 is fitted atop of the voice coil bobbin 11 of a speaker, a supporter 17 is stood on the center end of the top plate 16, and the center of a discoidal piezoelectric element 12 is stuck atop of the supprrter 17. The supporter 17 of this piezoelectric element 12 is fixed, together with a bobbin 11, to a diaphragm 15 as only one supporting means through a dust cap 16. Then, a detection output which has superior frequency characteristics and excellent linearity is obtained and fed back to the drive system of the speaker to flatten the sound-pressure frequency characteristics of the speaker, thereby reducing nonlinear distortion.
