Abstract
PURPOSE:To contrive the stabilization of oscillation, by balancing the supply and discharge amounts of laser gas at the same time under a constant condition of gas pressure in a discharge tube. CONSTITUTION:The laser gas extruded by a blower 1 enters the laser tube 3 with compression heat absorbed by a thermal converter 2 to be exposed to glow discharge for the generation of laser oscillation between reflectors 4, 5 taken out as laser light 6. High temperature gas by glow discharge is cooled by the thermal converter 3 to circulate into the blower 1 with a part discharged out of the system by a rotary pump 7 through a flow control valve 8. On the other hand, the amount of gas supply from a bomb 9 is controlled by the valve 10. The valve 8 is completely closed until the gas pressure in the tube 3 amounts to some point to contrive shorter time with the valve entirely open. Thereafter, the amounts of gas supply and discharge are balanced to keep the gas pressure at constant.
