Abstract

PURPOSE:To stop a carrier stably with low noise accurately and to increase the lifetime of a motor by providing a stop positioning single phase AC energizing coil and a braking magnet at a primary side core. CONSTITUTION:A secondary conductor 6 is moved from rightward to leftward direction by an advancing magnetic field generated by a primary coil 2. When the first position detector 131 detects the end 16 of the conductor 6, the connection of 3-phase alternating currents applied to the coil 2 is varied in response to the detection, and the coil 2 is reversely energized so that a force in the advancing direction is applied to the conductor 6 in reverse direction of the advancing direction of the conductor 6. The conductor 6 is decelerated by this reverse energization, and the reverse energization of the coil 2 is interrupted at the time when the speed of the conductor 6 is decelerated by a speed detector 14 to the prescribed low speed. Then, when the second position detector 132 detects the end of the conductor 6, single phase AC energizing coil 10 and a braking DC energizing coil 12 are simultaneously energized.
