Abstract

PURPOSE:To extremely reduce manufacturing cost by substituting a structure of a rotary shaft which is produced from cast iron or a forged material of the rotary shaft by rough cutting, with a combined structure consisting of one steel pipe and two sintered materials. CONSTITUTION:A rotary shaft 13 consists of one steel pipe 11 which is made up of a joint part 11a of a rotor of an electric motor, an upper journal part 11b, a lower journal part 11c and a joint part 11d of eccentric members 12, made of sintered material. Lateral holes 11e are drilled at proper positions in advance. Each of the two eccentric members 12 has an inner boss 12a which is welded to the steel pipe 11 and an outer boss 12b which is off-centered by an arbitrary dimension from the center of the inner boss 12a.
