Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain complex sintered machine parts having higher joining strength with a compact body (inner part) having shaft part by using the prescribed ratio of carbonyl iron powder to the total iron powder quantity forming a compact body (outer part) having hole part. CONSTITUTION:The inner part having the shaft part and the outer part having hole part are compacted by compressing iron series metal powder and sintered under fitting condition of both, to produce the complex sintered machine parts. In this case, at least on one part of the inner and outer parts, diffusion promote element composing copper powder and graphite powder, etc., is added and also 5-10wt.% of the iron powder forming the outer part is made to the carbonyl iron powder. By this method, the complex sintered machine parts having higher joining strength is obtd.
