Abstract

PURPOSE:To enhance the productivity and the reliability by forming a fixed scroll member and a turning scroll member engaging each other with a resin, or forming them by covering a core member with the resin, while forming respective sliding members on the resin surface and a metal surface. CONSTITUTION:A fixed scroll member 2 is provided with a spiral tooth 26 erected on the bottom plate 2a for forming a metallic core member 2d. A resin layer 1 is formed on the surface without the tooth 26 forming opposite surface of the bottom plate 2a in the core member 2d and an end plate 2c, while pressure-contact sliding surface 2c' of the end plate 2c is machined. On the other hand, a turning scroll member 3 is composed of the resin layer 1 formed on the surface without a tooth forming opposite surface of the bottom plate 3a in the core member 3d formed the same as the fixed scroll member 2, and a crank bearing member 3e. Thereby, the fixed scroll member 2 and the turning scroll member 3 constructed in this way, are used by mutually engaging the teeth 2b, 3b.
