Abstract
PURPOSE: To produce an excellent sintered part assuming an intricate shape by impregnating an anaerobic resin in a powder molded article, hardening, machining then sintering the same.
CONSTITUTION: Raw material metal powder and additive powder are mixed at a predetermined ratio, whereby mixed powders are obtained. These mixed powders added with a lubricant are packed in a die, and are pressurized with a pressing device, whereby they are molded to a powder molded article assuming the basic shape style of a part. Next, an anaerobic resin is impregnated in this molded article, and the article is left standing in the atmosphere to barden the resin. Next, the molded article is machined to a part of final shape. Thence, the machined article is put into a heating furnace and is sintered by heating. In this way, the parts assuming an intricate shapes that cannot be formed by pressure molding alone with the die is produced accurately at low die cost.
