Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent metal-contact between a power shaft and a bearing and also between an eccentric pin and an inner face of a roller in a position where the local load is increased, by improving lubricating condition around them.
CONSTITUTION: This compressor is constituted by providing oil pockets 34a, 34b on each of surfaces of supporting parts 11a, 11b of a power shaft 11 near those areas of an upper bearing 12 and a lower bearing 13 subjected to the maximum loading . When the load is small, lubricating oil is supplied from the center part of the shaft 11 through oil feeding ports 29, 28, annular oil grooves 32, 31, and spiral oil grooves 27, 26. At the maximum loading, since the oil pockets 34b, 34a and the oil grooves 27, 26 are not continued, volumes of the oil pockets 34b, 34a are reduced by decreasing clearance between the shaft 11 and the bearings 13, 12, and oil is compressed. Therefore, by appropriately setting sizes of pressure receiving surfaces and volumes of the oil pockets 34b, 34a, hydraulic pressure which is generated here can fully support a large load which is applied on the shaft 11, and metal-contact of the shaft 11 with the bearings 12, 13 can be prevented.
