Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent returning of external water even if the water level of external water is raised higher than that of internal water, by installing a float type valve chamber, provided with a non-return valve preventing returning of external water, at a part of a sluice gate. CONSTITUTION:If a water level of internal water 2 is raised higher than that of external water 3 by a given height, a pressure, produced dur to the difference in water level, overcomes buoyancy of a float 11 to depress the float 11, and as a result, the internal water 2 flows to the external water (3) side. Meanwhile, if the water level of the external water 3 is raised higher than that of the internal water 2, the float 11 is raised due to the buoyancy of the float 11 and the difference in water level between the internal and the external water to form a perfect water tight line through the pressure produced resulting from contact of a valve seat 13 with a water tight rubber, and this prevents entrance of the external water 3 to the internal water (2) side.
