Abstract
PURPOSE:To accurately compensate tracking shift, by detecting a control signal from a track 2N fields, when a rotating head scans over the track equivalent to N fields and reproduces recordings as one field's share signal. CONSTITUTION:A pulse generator 7 produces sampling pulses from symmetrical rectangular drum pulses synchronized with a rotating head and gives the pulses to a circuit 6 and generates a head shaking signal in one field period and sums them at 13. A sampling circuit 6 samples a signal level at N parts of one recording track and stores at 9. The 2nd and 1st field sampling data are compared at 10 and the result is stored at 11 as a tracking shift signal to a memory 11 and sums at 13 the signal as a shift correction tracking signal via a tracking signal generating circuit 12. The addition output 13 controls a head moving mechanism 15 via a driving amplifier 14 and the rotating head makes reproduction at a higher position and lower position than a reference position in accordance with a shaking signal. Thus, track shift can accurately be compensated.
