Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve accuracy of temperature measuring of a long metallic wire, by inserting the metallic wire, before and after temperature change, into the cylinder type solenoid to obtain impedance change and measuring temperature utilizing the variation of impedance. CONSTITUTION:High frequency is fed to a solenoid 2 at the front part of heating section 4 for a metallic wire 3 which progresses in the direction of the arrow mark. All impedances Z seen from the side of solenoid are obtained and high frequency current is fed again to the solenoid 2A in the heating section 4 as for the heated metallic wire 3. Difference between this impedance Z' and the impedance Z is caused by rise in temperature. Therefore, if relation between the impedances Z and Z' is previously obtained, temperature of metallic wire 3 at solenoid 2A is measured.
