Abstract

PURPOSE: To accurately compensate the natural frequency of a turbine blade, by deciding the quantity of compensating working for adjusting the natural frequency of the bending of the turbine blade precisely and easily by measuring the volume of a sheet-like portion of the turbine blade.
CONSTITUTION: When producing a turbine blade 1, the turbine blade is manufactured so that its natural frequency range over values slightly higher than the range of the target natural frequency - so that a sheet-like portion 2 of an upper half portion of the blade 1 become thick, and the natural frequency is adjusted. The natural frequency is electrically measured by utilizing a resonance phenomenon. The quentity of the compensating working of the blade 1 with the high natural frequancy is decided by measuring the volume of the sheet-like portion 2. In this case, the quantity of volume to be reduced is decided so that the quantity be brought within the target range by using relationship between approximate linear natural frequency as shown in the characteristic figure and the volume of the turbine blade 1. Known electrolysis working or etching may be adopted in order to realize this uniform volume reducing portion 3 over the whole said sheet-like portion.
