Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable to perform an excavation without caring of damage of a buried substance, by a method wherein, in a device for excavating a lot where buried substances exist underground, an elastic rotary cutter, turned by a drive mechanism, and a belt conveyor are vertically movably mounted to a truck. CONSTITUTION:Stays 4 are erected at both sides of a truck 1 running on a road, a bucket 5 is attached to the stay 4 in a manner to protrude forward, and an excavating mechanism 2 is pivotably secured to the bracket 5 through a hydraulic cylinder 13 so that it can rock vertically. The excavating mechanism 2 has an elastic rotary cutter 8 whose forward end spins, and a frame monolithically united with a motor 9 is constituted such that it can freely expand and contract by means of a hydraulic cylinder 6. A belt conveyor 3 is rockably attached to a slider 19, elevating in a manner to make slide contact with the stay 4, through a hydraulic cylinder 20, and the belt conveyor 3 is positioned so that it can freely elevate and rock against the truck 1. This permits to perform an excavation without care and with no damage of a buried substance.
