Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent a stored liquid from being stratified by providing a blow- off port capable of blowing off a solid small piece having specific gravity lighter than that of the stored liquid to the bottom part in the storage tank of a stored liquid stirring apparatus to stir the stored liquid during a stage for raising the solid small piece within the stored liquid. CONSTITUTION:In a large scale low temp. liquefied gas storage tank or the like, a blow-off port 5 is provided to the bottom part of a storage tank (a) and, from this blow-off port, a solid small piece 6 comprising hard urethane foam, polystyrene or the like having specific gravity ligher than that of a stored liquid (b) such as LNG or the like is blown off. By this method, the stored liquid is stirred by a turbulent flow generated during the rising stage of said small piece 6 to prevent the stored liquid from being stratified.
