Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent sticking of the residual toner after cleaning on stylus electrodes by using a dielectric film as a recording medium and disposing a developing device on the side opposite from the stylus electrode array forming electrostatic latent images. CONSTITUTION:A recorder is formed of a dielectric film 3 which is extended between drums 1, 2 and is rotated by these, electrostatic chargers 4, 5, a stylus electrode array 6 provided on the inner side of the film 3 and a developing device 10 disposed on the outer side in the position A of the drum 2. The electrostatic latent images of the film 3 are visualized with the device 10, and are fed to a corona charger 11 without detaching them from the surface of the drum 2. In the position B, they are transferred onto recording paper 12. Hence, the electrostatic latent images are formed in an optimum state without sticking the residual toner to the stylus electrodes by cleaning the toner 8 stuck to the outside surface of the film 3 with a cleaner 14 after the transfer.
