Abstract

PURPOSE:To promote start operation of an engine, by housing a heating wire in a mixture heating nozzle, generating a rich mixture in an auxiliary carburetor, heating the mixture through said heating nozzle and obtaining an inflammable mixture. CONSTITUTION:A nozzle N is connected to a main suction passage immediately after an air cleaner through an auxiliary intake passage 10, and an auxiliary carburetor, capable of feeding a rich mixture, is interposed in said auxiliary intake passage 10. The nozzle N is constituted by an outer tube 11, inner tube 13, arranged to the inside of said outer tube and provided with a heat insulating gap 12 in the periphery, and coiled heating wire 14, housed in said inner tube 13. At start operation, the rich mixture is well contacted to the coiled heating wire 14 in a red heat state and heated, partially changed to combustion gas, and the combustion gas is mixed with another mixture to heat the total mixture, thus a good inflammable mixture can be obtained.
