Abstract

PURPOSE: A simply structured spinneret wherein the holes for leading the major polymer and the minor one respectively are made in the similar shapes to the cruciform section of the conjugate yarn to be made by sintering or casting and set in the upper half of the polymer-introducing hole in each nozzle, thus giving accurately conjugated fiber.
CONSTITUTION: In a spinneret for producing conjugate fiber D consisting of at least two polymers A and B, e.g., division type, polymer pipe 9 made by sintering or casting is inserted into the upper half of the polymer introduction hole 8a in each nozzle 8. In the polymer 9, for example, the cross-shaped hole for the major polymer 10 is vertically set at the center and small round-shaped holes for the minor polymer 11 are vertically around the center at an equal interval. Thus, a division-type conjugate yarn where the outer periphery of the major polymer A is equally divided with the minor polymer B at a right angle is obtained.
