Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent a hot water supply duct from freezing during the night in winter by installing a vaporizing part of a heat pipe on the upper part of a hot water reservoir of a heat accumulator and providing a condensing part of the heat pipe in a closely attached manner to the hot water supply duct. CONSTITUTION:At the time of heat collecting operation in the daytime a control valve 25 is kept open, a control valve 26 is kept closed, while a circulation pump 7 is actuated and water in a heat accumulator is supplied to a heat collector 10 through a water pipe 9 for a temperature increase. In this case, the heat generated from a motor of the pump 7 is transmitted to a vaporizing part 20 of a heat pipe 19 from a pump outer casing 23 and an actuation liquid within the heat pipe 19 is made to evaporate. The vapor is made to transfer to a condensing part side 22 which is made to liquefy by giving its latent heat to a hot water supply pipe 16 which is made to attach closely to the condensing part 22, and a liquefied working medium is returned to the vaporizing part 20. Then, during the night, the control valve 25 is kept closed, the control valve 25 is kept open, the hot water supply pipe 16 is heated in the same way through the heat pipe 19 whose vaporizing part 21 is located in a hot water revervoir 3 and freezing of the pipe 16 is prevented.
