Abstract
PURPOSE:To perform driving at the minimum fuel consumption rate, by comparing the revolution speed of the engine with the depression of the accelerator pedal and by turning on and off a red and a green lights when the depression is larger than the revolution speed, to give warning to the driver. CONSTITUTION:An engine revolution speed signal applied to a terminal 1 is changed into a DC voltage by converters 1a, 2. The DC voltage is applied to a comparator 4. A voltage resulting from the addition of the saw-toothed-wave voltage of a triangular wave generator 3a to a voltage corresponding to the depression of the accelerator pedal and applied to a terminal 3 is also entered into the comparator 4. When the DC voltage is higher than the other voltage entered into the comparator 4, it sends out a signal to turn on a green light 5. At that time, a red light 6 is not turned on. When the comparator 4 does not send out the signal, the green light 5 is turned off but the red light 6 is turned on. At that time, since the comparator compares the DC voltage with the saw- toothed-wave voltage, the two lights 5, 6 are alternately turned on and off and thereafter only the red light 6 is turned on to give warning to the driver.
