Abstract

PURPOSE: To securely give an alarm for a failure, and speedily cope with it in the case where the failure occurs in an automobile by modulating relation between a set target output value and a generated output value in a driving range over a set idling value. CONSTITUTION: An internal combustion engine 13 is provided with an acceleration pedal 10 as a target output value setting device, and a target value is converted by a changeable resistance 10a into an electric signal to be inputted to a regulation device 11. The regulation device 11 takes input of various driving parameters in the internal combustion engine 13. The regulation device 11 controls an electric drive unit 12 to actuate a throttle valve 12a in the internal combunsion engine 13. The regulation device 11 takes input of various failure signals 16, and actuates an alarm 14. At this time, when a failure occurs, relation between the set target output value and a generated output value is modulated in a driving range over a set idling value.
