Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce load of an after treating equipment, to restrain damages of the equipment and to make it compact, by controlling the quantity of harmful components before introducing them into the equipment in after treating to make the desorbed harmful components to be harmless.
CONSTITUTION: An adsorbing apparatus housing adsorbing elements such as activated carbon fibers reaches a desorbing system while moving in the M direction to purify waste gas and gradually increasing the adsorbing quantity of harmful components. Though the harmful components adsorbed by the elements are desorbed by heating gas introduced into housings 5 and 6 through a blower 2, heating furnace 3, and an inducing pipe 4 and are made harmless by conducting to an after treating equipment 9 through a blower 8 or recovered by a layer 12, consisting of cheap inorganic porous substance, etc., for buffering the concentration of harmful components is provided to the front of the after treating equipment 9 to decrease the fluctuation of the quantity of harmful components to be introduced to the equipment 9.
