Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent the temp. drop of an adsorption system by the heat of adsorption at the time of desorbing the material to be adsorbed by holding a constant amt. of moisture beforehand in an adsorbent used for pressure fluctuation type separation by adsorption.
CONSTITUTION: A constant amt. of moisture is beforehand held in an adsorbent used for a pressure fluctuation type separation by adsorption such as zeolite or activated alumina. Then, in the stage of desorption of the material to be adsorbed, the failure in the quick and thorough desorption of the material to be adsorbed from the adsorbent by the occurrence of the temp. drop of the adsorbent owing to the effect of the heat of desorption is prevented and this method provides efficiency.
