Abstract

PURPOSE:To easily adjust so that scale factors in the longitudinal direction and the lateral direction become equal in a fixing process, by a simple constitution, by constituting so that one scale factor in the longitudinal direction or the lateral direction can be adjusted. CONSTITUTION:In case when fine adjustment of a copying scale factor is executed, an operator measures length in the longitudinal direction (feeding direction) and the lateral direction of a copying form printed on trial, checks a difference of the scale factor, calculates a correcting value in the feeding direction by concrete length so that the scale factors in both the directions become equal, and inputs a calculated correcting value to a fine adjustment indicating device 2. A controller 3 controls a speed changing device 4, converts a scanning speed of an original, executes its correction, and as a result, the scale factor in the feeding direction of the copying form is corrected so as to be equal to the scale factor in the vertical direction.
