Abstract

PURPOSE: To decrease the electric power loss in a control circuit for a torque control motor by feeding electric power to said motor by the voltage consisting of applying the output voltage of a power source for a speed control motor to the output voltage of a low voltage power source for the torque control motor.
CONSTITUTION: When a potentiometer 29 is set at a high speed in the case of feeding a welding wire at a high speed, high voltage is applied to the armature of a pull motor 18, then the motor 18 runs at a high speed, thereby feeding the wire at a high speed. On the other hand, low current voltage is generated between the output terminals 42a and 42b of a bridge rectifier circuit 41. The positive side terminal voltage of a bridge rectifier circuit 21 charges a capacitor 44 to high voltage via a diode 45, and the high output voltage thereof and the low output voltage of the circuit 41 are applied to the armature of a push motor 15 via a transistor 43. A motor 15 is then run at constant torque. In the case of feeding the wire at a low speed, the output voltage of the circuit 21 lowers and the motor 18 slows down. The voltage of the capacitor 44 is lowered as well, and the motor 15 is run at the torque corresponding to the low speed.
