Abstract
PURPOSE:To keep a desired reflection factor constant, by providing a transparent electrode on one side of one of 2 opposed transparent glas plates, providing an electric conductor reflection film on one side of the other plate, placing an electric color forming material whose transmittivity is varied by voltage, between them, and providing a controlling means. CONSTITUTION:A reflection mirror 1 is constituted by vapor-depositing an electric conductor reflection film 13 and a transparent electrode 14 on the opposed surfaces of transparent glass plates 11, 12, respectively, filling an electric color former (for instance, an electrochromic agent), and sealing with a frame 16, and is provided with a light emitting element 3 and a photodetctor 4. A light beam emitted from the light emitting element 3 which has been lighted by a battery B is made incident to the photodetector, an output is inputted to a comparator 7, is compared with set voltage V0 selected by resistances R3-R5, and when input voltage exceeds V0, a transistor Tr is operated, voltage is applied to the electrodes 13, 14, the electric color former 15 forms a color, the transmittivity drops, and a desired reflection factor is maintained.
