Abstract
PURPOSE:To easily further safely fix a ganerator package to a barge, in the above described equipment transportable in a floating state, by providing plural protrusive parts to the front and rear of the generator package while providing supporting structures, holding said protrusive parts, to the submergeable barge loading the generator package. CONSTITUTION:A generator package P, manufactured in a plant, is completed by mounting protrusive objects LS respectively to its front part FP and rear part AP, loaded on a submergeable transport barge B and transported on the sea to the construction site of a power plant. In this case, the package P, when loaded on the barge B, is firstly moved to a position on the barge B submerged, and the barge B is floated in a position of alignment between the protrusive objects LS of the package P and supporting structures SU on the barge B, then the both P and B are integrally formed through the protrusive objects LS and the supporting structures SU. Then a wedge is driven as necessary between the protrusive object LS and the supporting structure SU to fix the package to the barge, thereafter, transport of the package is started.
