Abstract
PURPOSE:To change the characteristics of rear wheel braking force in response to load and as well to eliminate the affection of brake oil to an inertia body which moves depending upon vehicle deceleration, by using the inertia body as a fulcrum for a load transfer mechanism. CONSTITUTION:A fluid pressure control valve is subjected to the force of a spring 18 through a load transfer mechanism 14 and carries out the proportional control of rear wheel brake force. An inertia body 17 moves upward along a lever 16 in response to vehicle deceleration, and acts as a fulcrum for the load transfer mechanism when it is in a range l2. Accordingly, the stop position of the inertia body is changed depending upon vehicle loading conditions so that the characteristics of rear wheel braking force is also changed, thereby the braking force may response to the loading conditions.
