Abstract

PURPOSE:To stop sequence arithmetic while causing interruption shortly after parity generation, by outputting the result of a self-diagnosis of a memory through an auxiliary relay. CONSTITUTION:A Microprocessor 1 performs processing such as external input and output control to store a processing program in a memory 2. A voltage drop across a battery 5 is detected by a battery voltage drop detecting circuit 6, and the occurrence of an erroneous read of a sequence program, namely, parity generation is detected by a memory parity generating circuit 8. This detection result is outputted to a data bus 7 under the command of the microprocessor 1 at a break in sequence arithmetic. This detection result and pieces of information on whether the battery voltage drop and pariry generation occur are inputted to the microprocessor 1 and processed, and results are stored in a memory 9 for an auxilary relay. The stored results are outputted as self-diagnostic results through sequence arithmetic processing.
