Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the cost of wiring for the titled system and to improve the working efficiency of the system by a method wherein a plurality of dispersedly arranged air conditioners are controled concentrically through a single transmission line. CONSTITUTION:A central control device 20 is connected to control sections 301-30n of the air conditioners 101-10n through the single common transmission line 40. The device 20 functions such that an operation command section 203 encodes operation information regarding the contents and time of operation and addresses of the air conditioners 101-10n to be controled and makes an operation information memory 202 store the encoded information, and an operating and processing section 201 picks up from the memory 202 the operation information of a predetermined address so as to generate an STB signal at a predetermined time and a transmission and receiving section 208 outputs the operation information. Further, the address of the operation information received by a transmission and receiving section 301 of a control section 301 is compared to the signal from a specific address register 303 at an address comparison section 304 and when they coincide with each other, the operation information is inputted to a command readout section 305, the output of the command readout section 305 is transmitted to a comparison section 309 through a memory 306 so as to be compared to the signal from a temperature detecting section 310 and the output of the comparison section is transmitted to a drive section 312.
