Abstract
PURPOSE:To set and further reset necessary frequency characteristics of level variation to be compensated, by connecting a Jaumann circuit, which includes a variable resistor for varying a transfer function, in series to a subordinate transmitting circuit. CONSTITUTION:A signal from an input terminal 1 is branched by a branching hybrid transformer 5 to a main transmitting circuit 8 consisting of an attenuator 6 and a phase compensating circuit 7, and a subordinate transmitting circuit 15 consisting of an amplifier 10, variable resistance networks 111-11n, a Jaumann transformer 12, a Jaumann circuit 13, and an amplifier 14. Signals from the main transmitting circuit 8 and subordinate transmitting circuit 15 are added together by a hybrid transformer 16, whose output is led out from an output terminal 2. The variable resistance networks 111-11n consists of frequency characteristic circuits 181-18n for obtaining necessary frequency characteristics, variable resistors 191-19n, and resistors 201-20n, and have different frequency characteristics.
