Abstract

PURPOSE:To prepare the excellent titled panel inexpensively and highly efficiently by a method wherin phenol foam material is discharged on polyisocyanurate material coated on a noncombustible base and a sheet-shaped material is laminated, expanded and then cured in the course of foaming. CONSTITUTION:The surface of a noncombustible base is coated with polyisocyanurate layer-forming material and this material is stretched to a desired width to obtain a uniformly distributed thickness. Subsequently, when said layer is either in a gelation time or in a rise time, phenol foam material is discharged in an expandable condition. Then, a sheet-shaped material is laminated on a material which is foaming and fed to a cure oven of a desired shape as phenol foam material is being stretched through a nip roll. The material is expanded, cured and integrated in the oven to manufacture the refractory, heat insulating panel.
