Abstract
PURPOSE:To unnecessitate any special measures for installation, maintenance, inspection and the like, by making a detector judge the fracture of a substance to be machined from the state of a change in velocity of a velocity controlling motor. CONSTITUTION:When fracture is generated in a substance to be machined, a load torque of a motor 1M increases and a velocity falls. This fluctuation of velocity is detected by a velocity detector 1TG, and a detection signal e1 is differentiated and given, as a signal e11, to a NOT circuit 7 and thereby it is made to be a signal e12. Meanwhile, a load torque of a motor 2M decreases and avelocity rises. this fluctuation of velocity is detected by a velocity detector 2TG and a detection signal e2 is differentiated to be a signal e21. The signals e12 and e21 each are given to an AND circuit 8, and an output e'A is given to FF10 only when an output ex of a NOR circuit 9 in the absence of fracture detection signals eB, eC...-eN is ''1'', and thus an output eA of FF10 is obtained. By this signal eA, the generation of the fracture is detected.
