Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a titled working device that has perfect sealing to prevent leakage of liquid at all times and to form the device by one process in making hydraulic bulge working of a straight tube to make sectional forms in longitudinal direction different by increasing pressure applied to inner periphery of oil seal folowing rise of bulge pressure. CONSTITUTION:After mounting a straight tube 1 to above-mentioned device, guide dies 5, 6 are set and clamped. Next expanding heads 3, 4 are thrusstd in the inner periphery of both ends of the tube 1 to expand the tube ends to trumpet shape. Oil pressure is applied to inside of oil seal 9 from an oil hole 11 by a low pressure pump to bring the seal 9 into close contact with the inner periphery of the tube 1. A high pressure pump 18 is operated next, and pressure oil 12 is supplied into the tube 1 to apply pressure. At this time, a valve 20 is opened to exhaust 13 air in the tube 1. Then, valve 20 is closed to make the pressure bulge pressure P1. As this pressure P1 is also applied to inside of the seal 9, through a by-pass circuit 15, when the pressure P1 in the tube 1 is increased, the pressure is also applied to inside of the seal 9. The seal 9 is expanded by the same pressure and leakage of oil from between inner periphery of the tube 1 and outer periphery of heads 3, 4.
