Abstract
PURPOSE:To detect accurate bending angle and bending angle during bending at all times by detecting displacement of a freely rotatable and movable contact body that follows the surface of a work. An arm 13 rotates in the longitudinal direction of the groove of a lower die, and the connecting part 11 of a contact body 9 comes into contact with the lower face of the work and stops. when an upper die is in contact with the upper face of the work and the work starts bending, the arm 13 and the contact body 9 rotate, and the connecting part 11 goes up while keeping contact with the work. consequently, the piston rod 23 is moved by rotation of the arm 13, and a detecting rod 29 makes linked movement. Since the distance of vertical movement of the connecting part 11 is proportional to distance of movement of the detecting rod, bending angle of the work can be determined by detecting the distance of movement of the detecting rod 29 by a detecting section and calculating the distance of vertical movement accurately.
