Abstract

PURPOSE:To make an original press contacting plate attachable and detachable to and from a body of an image former by providing means of pressing one end of said plate to the body and the one end engageable with the pressing means to the press contacting plate. CONSTITUTION:A pressing means 5 is constituted by having a pressing member 6, an energizing spring 7, and a projecting part 8 of the body of a copying machine supporting the pressing member. The part 8 is made in one body with the body 3 or is fixed thereto, and the upper part thereof projects slightly in approximately parallel with the top surface of the body 3, thus forming a collar part 9. In the lower part of the part 9, the member 6 is supported pivotally at one end by the part 8. The other end of the member 6 curves downward and the leading end 6a thereof forms a cylindrical section. Further, the spring 7 detained in the middle of the member 6 is detained at the other end to the body 3, and applies suitable energizing force in a clockwise direction to the member 6. Thereby, the press contacting plate is detached from or attached to the body easily and surely.
