Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a homogeneous paint film of a sealing agent by immersing the peripheral part of an applying disk into a sealing-agent bath by rotating the said disk, and applying the sealing agent sticking to the said disk to the periphery of a sealing plate by moving an axial body, which can be rotated while being moved and to which the sealing plate is attached at its end surface. CONSTITUTION:A sealing-agent applying disk 7, the periphery of which is immersed into a sealing-agent bath 10, is rotated by means of a shaft 8. On the other hand, a sealing plate 6 is attached to an axial body, one end of which is provided with a sealing-plate adsorbing chip 1 to that the sealing plate 6 can be attached, and which can be moved up and down while being rotated. Next, a sealing agent is applied to the periphery of the sealing plate 6 by making the periphery of the plate 6 in contact with the periphery of the applying disk 7 by moving the sealing plate 6 downward while rotating the plate 6. During the application of the sealing agent, the rotating speed of the periphery of the plate 6 can bemade to coincide with the rotating speed of the periphery of the disk 7. Consequently, the sealing agent can be homogeneously applied to only the peripheral part of the plate 6, and the thickness of the paint film can be altered voluntarily.
