Abstract

PURPOSE: To impart fall-off resistance and torque durability to a vibro-isolating pulley, by providing convex and concaved parts of suitable size on the contact surface of a boss with a rubber layer of a pulley part.
CONSTITUTION: The periphery of a boss 3 and inner circumference of a pulley part 2 are formed, for instance, to a round shape, and in 4 positions on the shaped part, for instance, protrusively shaped parts 2a, 3a are formed correspondingly to the boss 3 and the pulley part 2, while in the rubber layer 4 making contact with the boss 3 and the pulley part 2 a suitable shape of ruggedness is provided. The contact face, being formed in such a manner as in the above, can remarkably increase the contact area to improve the fall-off resistance of a vibro-isolating pulley 1 in use because of the increase of friction resistance in the contact part. While the rubber 4 placed in the concaved part, when it rides over the protrusively shaped parts 2a, 3a, produces a large amount of resistance to impart torque durability in addition to the fall-off resistance, then the vibro-isolating pulley, manufactured by the method of press-fit assembly inferior in adhesiveness, can obtain satisfactory fall-off resistance and torque durability.
