Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve a detect of transcription such as an uneven transcription, by iradiating the light to a photoconductive drum containing a toner powder image to lessen the charging of the drum. CONSTITUTION:A toner powder image is formed to a photoconductive drum 1 by a developing device 4, and the light is irradiated to the drum 1 to a lessen the charging of the drum through a charging lessening device 8. The device 8 contains a fluorescent lamp 81, a filter 82 plus a cover 83 which stores the lamp 81 and the filter 82. The light of the lamp 81 is irradiated to the drum 1 to expose slight the entire surface of the drum to light. Thus the charging on the drum 1 is lessened to relatively increase the sucking force of static electricity to the toner powder image although the applied charge of a transfer electrode has no change. In such way, the defect of transcription such as the uneven transcription, etc. is improved.
