Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the thermal efficiency within the determined strength limit of an engine, by converting a fuel flow rate signal from a rotational frequency controller into an electronic pulse signal by an electronic pulse generator thereby precisely controlling the amount of fuel injection. CONSTITUTION:An engine rotational frequency signal from a rotational frequency detector 1 enters the rotational frequency controller where it is compared with a predetermined rotational frequency, and is processed, and the output signal is inputted as a fuel flow rate signal into the electronic pulse generator 3, where it is then converted into an electronic pulse signal corresponding to an optimum fuel injection pattern, and is outputted to an electromagnetically actuated valve 4. Thus, the electromagnetically actuated valve 4 drives a variable throttle mechanism 5 and a fuel injection valve 6. Accordingly, the thermal efficiency can be improved within the determined strength limit of the engine.
