Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve a starting performance with a single valve by a method wherein a fuel supply quantity from an injection valve is increased by a starting pulse generator circuit when an engine speed in a starter driving is at a certain level or below.
CONSTITUTION: Speed signals 1 generate pulse signals in proportion to the number of cylinders by a waveform circuit 2 and a divider circuit 3. These signals are input together with those from an intake air flow meter 5 to an operational circuit 4, of which output signals are then input to a multiplier circuit together with those of a fuel increasing circuit 12 and an operating condition detecting step 7. The speed signals 1 are compared with the reference values in a monostable multivibrator 14 and a comparator 15, and also with output signals from the multiplier circuit 9 in an OR circuit 17 to which output signals of a starting pulse generator circuit 16 are input. As a result, when the revolution is at a certain level or below, the speed signals 1 actuates an output circuit 10 to increase an injection quantity of fuel from an injection valve 11.
