Abstract

PURPOSE:To remarkably finely control the rotation of a motor by reading out servo information or clock information written in a magnetic disc, comparing the read out signal with a reference frequency signal, and controlling the rotation of a DC motor. CONSTITUTION:Servo information or clock information read out signal by a read-out head 1 is amplified by a preamplifier 2, is inputted to a pulse production circuit 3, and the prescribed pulse signal corresponding to the read-out signal is inputted to a synchronizing circuit 4. The circuit 4 operates in PLO, and output pulse signal from the circuit 4 is compared with a reference frequency signal from a crystal oscillator 6 through a pulse oscillator 7 and a counter 8. Switching elements 101-103 are controlled ON or OFF by the output signals of AND circuits 91-93 which receives the output signal of a frequency comparator 5 and an excitation signal, thereby controlling the energization currents of motor coils 111-113.
